Whatever they are, places with many people or loneliness, pebble or sandy beaches, a combination
of sea bath with a good lunch, we propose and you select.

Beaches near the settlement.

Vai. In five minutes by bus or bicycle or if you prefer in fifteen minutes walking from the settlement, you will be in one of the most well known beaches of Europe with its unique palm forest. Wonderful sandy beach, sea, but also many people.
For you who won't appreciate a crowded beach have a small walk following the path that start in Vai and, in less than 10 minutes, a quiet sandy beach with cedars awaits you.

Itanos or Ermoupoli. You will need the same time from the settlement in order to go to Ermoupoli, where is also located the archaeological site of Itanos. Three small quiet and clean beaches await you there. Combine a bath with a visit to the archaeological site.

Hohlakias. Small bay, "wild '' and imposing landscape, beach with fat pebble, for those who prefer the absolute quietness and calm. And here you would better not forget the essential supplies. You will roughly need ten minutes by car and half an hour walking.

A little more far away from the settlement

Maridati. Following the road to Palaikastro and at four km. from the settlement, you will be at this small and beautiful beach with pebble. Near in the beach exists a tavern.

Kouremenos. In the same direction and in five km. from the settlement, you will find the beach of Kouremenos.
Here you will simply select the spot of the beach you will stay for your bath, as the beach is big enough to satisfy all the tastes.
There are restaurants for coffee, refreshment or food. A club of Wind Surfing is also at your disposal.

Hiona. Following the road you will arrive at Hiona Beach, where apart from the splendid beach, you might enjoy fresh fish in one of the graphic fish taverns.
