The Office of
Public Business of Palekastro is a public service provided by the
Mayor of Itanos. It's goal is to develop the cultural and touristic
appearance of the Municipality of Itanos. There are also other services,
like providing general information for the surrounding area, of
the various showplaces and in general any information about places
of interest and services the guests may require. There is also exchange
office that gives for free printed information about the area. All
are located in the same office as the Telephone Center (OTE) of
Palekastro.
Also, The Office of General Tourism offers a large spectrum of services
to the guests of the area.
In the Palm Forest of Vai, you can find an Information Office that
gives information for the area. It offers exchange, stamps, telephone
cards, guided tours and other items like maps, books, posters, postcards,
etc.
The Office of General Tourism also has the responsibility to control
car parks, public toilets, beach umbrellas and deck chairs. |
